Presumably the serial #'s start at "1000".So far, the earliest recorded serial # is 1113 with the last recorded serial number thus far at 3711. We know there are higher numbers out there and guitars with no serial #'s at all. When the factory was scheduled to close down, there was no more need for serial #'s since the purpose was for warranty and recalls. .
